Endlessly do the low clouds hover across this endless sea of green, the sky forever as blue and lively as the far ocean; endlessly, endlessly it all continues in one cycle of beautiful motion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; beauty can fade with time - yet, everything fades with time. Even people do, right? Animate life, physical and living creatures all come to parish sometime too, right? Endlessly it repeats, but for some it comes more quickly than it does to others.
Upon a rock, laying down on her back with those red pools staring up into the heavens above, is a creature many only can talk about. Legends, myths, folklore; what ever has you, but she shouldn't exist - not after everything that's happened anyways. Sometimes, she herself wonders if she's even still alive at all. So young, yet so much older than the rest of the world, she exists as a wayward soul - an outsider to us all.
It's unclear how her life has brought her to this moment in time, upon this rock; it's questionable, the things she's possibly seen or done, but in the end it doesn't matter. The past shouldn't matter, and only the present and the plausible future should be held onto in one's mind; yet, all Morrigan could ever find herself doing is hanging onto that terrible past. She's, you could say, holding a grudge - but that'd be putting it rather lightly.

He still wasn't certain as to why he would even travel this far - in fact, should the beasts get to him he would have been a goner! Though he made his way through the fields, his eyes peering over the grasslands as his lips shifted upwards in a rather pleased smile. It reminded him of the time he had traveled to another city with a group of others. It was a difficult task since everyone was so relatively weak, but none the less it was an amazing feeling to arrive and not be destroyed by the lurking beasts of night.
Then, from atop his hill he spotted another. He had come alone this far, and it was amazing to see that another.. a frail girl of sorts, had also come this way. How exactly did she manage to even make it this far by herself? She needed to be protected! Valiantly he approached, before promptly his head would poke over her own; like a looming tower, eying her carefully. "What have we here, a dear madam all alone? Quite dangerous, miss." he defiled the silence in a boyish tone, his voice fitting for the stereotypical hero.

Everything about her current mentality, about the area around her and the thoughts in her mind, came to vanish as another's voice shot through her ears out of no where. Without too much of a reaction, her eyes shift from the sky above over to the male hovering over her like the disgusting and vile creature that he is. Hate, hate begins to fill up inside of Morrigan as her eyes narrow ever so slightly at such a disgusting sight she is force to behold. Why does this sort of thing always have to happen to her? Why is it that she is always found or bothered whenever she wants to be alone and with herself? Granted, of course, she wants to be alone and by herself all the time - but still, like, no matter where she goes she always happens to have someone run into her! It's the worst.
Her body, along with her facial features, don't move an inch; all she continues to do is stare into the male with an absent-minded glance of hate. Honestly, she believes that at one point or another he'll get the hint; perhaps, maybe then, he'll leave her alone and regret ever bothering to waste time trying to communicate with the famous living dead.

Oh dear jesus what the fu-- i don't even... He was pretty taken aback by the sudden intense glare of death that fell on him, it was almost as if she were sentencing him to a life of harsh punishment for an eternity on over. There was a brief pause, his lips thinning down as his stare returned to her own... except his was a bit more strained. Though he was an intelligent youth, he often didn't find himself backing down from a staring contest. The first to look away was most definitely the less manly and a coward!
So they would stay there. Staring.
With Canute staring in a strained manner, lips quivering slightly.

It's obvious to Morrigan at this point, without a doubt in her mind, that this male is a complete idiot. A sigh passes her lips as she casually picks herself up and off the rock and onto her two feet that begin to lead her away from her place of rest and that idiot. Hands and arms disappearing inside of her robe just after she throws her hood over her head, she bows her head and walks as ghostly as the clouds that pass all around her.
People, all these creatures, everything around her makes her sick to her stomach! They ruined everything for her ancestors, they took the only people she's ever been close to away from her; there is nothing left in this world, nothing left for her - she's so young, and seemingly alone, without another to call her own.

"Wait! Where you going!" he watched as she got up and bounded away; moving forth after her. His hands shifted behind his head, fingers knitting together as he fell into a stroll at her side. There was a brief silence between the two, before of course the white haired Da'hal would start mouthing off random things. "Aren't you too young to be traveling all alone? Where'd your parents go? Are you okay?" three questions at once, coupled one after another due to the obvious silence.
He would break her.
He would. Break. Her.
In.

That voice, that irritating voice, rang through her ears once more as hurried footsteps approach from behind her - soon finding their way next to her; she couldn't believe this fool! She decides it's best not to answer any of his questions or acknowledge his presence, though his instigating upon still sensitive subjects makes her want to go wild on his face with her bare hands. Conflict, violence, anger - rage entirely, it's just something that is slowly eating her whole.
Taking a step over to the side to create distance between the two of them as she continues to silently walk forward like a woman in suffering, Morrigan shuts her eyes and chews on the inside of her mouth to try and keep her cool. With her breathing slow and heavy, almost as if she were asleep, she hopes that through this she can calm herself down to the point where she won't do any favours for the aggression inside of her!

"..." and now, there was nothing but silence. The two would continue their journey in the most depressing of silence, the white haired hero seeing it unfit to leave such a poor damsel in distress. Momentarily, his eyes drifted away to catch sight of the ponds they were passing; though it wouldn't make up for the silence at all. He exhaled, slowly feeling himself grow agitated with the woman. He was a Da'hal - he was being nice! That was something you didn't really do for people. He could just kill her here and be done with it, but his moral obligations said otherwise.
Grumble.
"Whenever you're ready to talk. Where are we even going?"

We? Did that chauvinistic, disgusting, vile and primitive creature just group her with him? The audacity of this simple-minded creature is beyond Morrigan's sense of understanding, she just couldn't understand what it is running through his head! Did he have no idea of who and what she is? Why is someone of his kind even bothering to act the way that he is? None of this makes any sense at all as much as it is all so sudden, it's just too much to stand by and let happen any longer!
Coming to a sudden halt, standing tall and still like a statue, Morrigan doesn't bother to turn her head to look at the male at all. All she does is stand there in silence, even her breathing becomes inaudible as everything about her seems to lose it's life! In her mind, thoughts were racing, different ways she could lay everything down on him; she figures the simplest way is to punch him in the face and tell him to flock off, but that's just not what she feels like she's up to at this moment in time.
"We are not going anywhere. I do not know you. Disappear."

Oh, that was rude. He was slightly taken aback by her behavior; but he should have expected it due to how cold she was being. His eyes shifted to the right, lips sealed as his optics glowed in a befitting demonic rage. He was just trying to be nice, and she was being a total asshole. "Hey I'm just trying to be nice, you prick!" a grimace, and his more barbaric ways began to let loose as his left palm aimed to push against her shoulder, shoving her forward. If she wanted him to be a dick back, he could! Besides, his dick was most likely bigger than hers in the first place. Ignorant twit.
"At least I'm not some sore emo twat with no family."
