The Kingdoms on this site are going to be managed by you, the players. To start, a thread will be made in the WORLD EVENTS board which will call for those interested in taking control of a Kingdom to submit an application to that thread. After two or three days, staff will deliberate on who would be the best fit for the Kingdom based on who has the better background story to go along with it. After successfully becoming either a King or Queen of one of the Kingdoms, you may appoint up to two others as members of your royal family - whether as a Prince/Princess, Duke/Duchess, or any other sort of title.
The new royalty will be required of answering the needs of the citizens of the Kingdom, including safeguarding it from invasions, handling any national issues such as plagues, droughts, and the likes, and a ton of other things that I can't think of right now but will most likely throw at you eventually. You are also in charge of setting up a Quest Bulletin Board, giving the many hero and heroines of your Kingdom different challenges to go on to prove their worth. As the leader of the Kingdom, you are also required to create and sticky 'areas of importance' throughout the Kingdom. You'll get the idea if you look at how other Kingdoms have things set up.
But do note! If your CHARISMA attribute is low, then you are more likely to have rebellions, riots, revolutions, and disloyal subordinates. Its key to have a high charisma stat to keep the citizens of your nation under control, otherwise you might have a bit of a problem. Do note; by accepting the responsibility of being a member of royalty, you are agreeing to be death enabled. Meaning, assassination plots may occur for those treasonous conspirators! Watch your back at all times, is all I'm going to say.
There is also something cool you could do. Should you gain enough supporters ICly, you can attempt to take over an independent city or village in the continent that is not aligned to either of the current Kingdoms. By doing so (with admin approval) you will be able to establish your own 'Kingdom', and though you won't be officially recognized as a large Kingdom, you will be recognized as the ruler of that city/village/town or whatever. Unless you somehow are capable of carving out massive amounts of territory from the much larger Kingdoms, or you trigger some sort of battle event - then in that case if you win such an event, or gain a large amount of territory - you will be placed in the KINGDOMS OF LOSLORIEN category as a new Kingdom. Hopefully you won't be instantly invaded and destroyed.
