Given the nature of the site, conflict is going to be a natural part of roleplay here, be it with NPCs in a quest or event, or against other players for fun or competition. Regardless of the form of combat, all battles serve as character advancement and development, and will yield rewards as such. There are, however, a few guidelines to combat outside of questing.
1) Combat here will be conducted in one of two ways; by stats or by skill. A fight based on stats is simply a fight based on the levels of the individual players, where the one with the higher level or better stats would have the upper hand. In a skill based battle, however, the fight is determined by the roleplayer's skill in articulating their side of the combat, and T1 rules are set in place.
2) While skill/level based fights will yield 10-100 Coin, skill based fights may only earn 10-50 Coin. This is to encourage level based fights, as they transition more smoothly and are more facile for staff to grade. Regardless of the fight's length or conditions, the overall reward will be based on the quality of the content. The more well-written the battle, the higher reward you will reap.
